Suffragist House On Lacurbed

Highland Park's Historic Suffragist House

Built in the late 1800s, the restored residence was a haven for noteworthy women's rights pioneers

This grand Colonial Craftsman in Highland Park boasts a history almost as colorful as its vividly decorated interior. Built circa 1887, the Garvanza District residence is believed to have provided shelter for early women's rights activists such as Dr. Anna Howard Shaw and Cora Pond-Pope.
